Juilliard’s 121st commencement ceremony, celebrating the class of 2026, will take place on Friday, May 22 at 11:30am ET. The ceremony will include remarks by school leadership, the conferral of degrees and honorary doctorates, and artistic interludes.

In recognition of extraordinary contributions to the performing arts and to society, this year Juilliard will confer honorary doctorates upon four remarkable artists: Misty Copeland, Distinguished Visiting Faculty Denyce Graves, alum Oscar Isaac, and Paul Simon. All are invited to watch this year’s commencement livestream at juilliard.edu and celebrate this milestone virtually.
